Find Your Valuables with the Chipolo Tracker

Chipolo Tracker

Finding my valuables has become so much easier since having my Chipolo tracker. As a mom, I’m always feeling scatterbrained and I’m always busy doing a million things. I can never remember where my keys, purse, phone or many other things are. Chipolo has made losing my valuables a thing of the past!

I can connect my Chipolos to an app on my phone. Whenever I lose a valuable, I press the icon for it on my phone and it will play a ring tone on the corresponding Chipolo to help me find it. There’s also a map showing the location of the Chipolo.

So what if I lose my phone? I simply click the Chipolo twice and it will ring my phone even if it’s on SILENT. šŸ˜Ā Which, if you’re like me happens way more than it should.

chipolo-app

Also, If I lose one of my valuables that has the Chipolo on it and someone else who has the app goes by that item, I get an email telling me the location of the item! I think that is so brilliant.

So what do I not love about the Chipolo? I only have two qualms so far.

  1. The ChipoloĀ works through Bluetooth. So if you are out of range, you will not be able to connect to the Chipolo through your phone. The max range for the Chipolo to ring your item is 200 yards. But this decreases with walls, etc. I have only run into this issue once where I went to ring my Chipolo and because it was in the basement it didn’t ring. I figure it’s hard for a lot of cell phones to have service in a basement so it makes sense that it wouldn’t ring.
  2. One of the two styles of Chipolos has a non-replaceable battery. There is the ChipoloĀ Classic and the Chipolo Plus. I have the ChipoloĀ Plus, which has a non-replaceable battery. The battery is supposed to last 12 months. I will have to see how long mine lasts. The reason that the battery is non-replaceable is that with technology ever-changing they’d like you to change out Chipolos. There is a recycling program where you can return your old Chipolo to the company and they will give you up to a 50% discount off a new Chipolo. The price of one Chipolo is $24.99 so you wouldn’t be paying much at all to replace one. You also get a bigger price reduction by buying Chipolos in bulk.

All-in-all, the Chipolo is pretty great! It has saved my sanity more times than I can count. I love that it’s water resistant. It comes in 7 different colors. I have two Chipolos. One of them is in the color “Rose Quartz” and the other one is in “Pearl White”. They look so good with my Diaper bag and keys. I think it’s great that the ringtone is nice and loud too. It’s up to 100db which if you read this chart compares it to a power lawn mower’s noise level.

Easier Meals with Baby: Featuring Nuby

Nuby Sure Gripā„¢ Miracle Mat Section Plate

Nuby has some amazing products for babies and children. One product that I’ve found myself reaching for over and over is their Sure Gripā„¢ Miracle Mat Section Plate. It makes meal time so much easier for both A and myself.

Sure Gripā„¢ Miracle Mat Section Plate

Meal time seems to be a struggle sometimes whenever A gets a plate or bowl. She inevitable tosses them on the floor or wants to spill her food out of them. I’ve learned to keep a dust pan and brush close by so that I can clean up the crazy amounts of food that get dropped on the floor. With A’s Sure Gripā„¢ Miracle Mat Section Plate, I don’t have to worry about the plate tossing! It suctions to a flat surface so it can’t be moved! Truly a life saver for moms and dads.

Nuby Sure Gripā„¢ Miracle Mat Section Plate

The plate is 100% silicone and very easy to clean. You can simply wipe it out or you can put the plate in the top rack of the dishwasher. The plate is also microwave safe which makes it the perfect all-in-one plate. You can find these plates at Babies R’ Us and Amazon.

Baby using Nuby Silicone Spoon

My second product that I tend to grab for A’s meals is Nuby’s Silicone Spoons. They are so great for teething babes! A has been teething since 4 months old and she loves to chew on soft, rubbery things. These spoons are so gentle on her gums, they’re easy for her to hold, and they’re not too soft to the point where they flop around. Again, these are silicone and dishwasher safe. I love them! I have some spoons from other brands and they tend to be too hard for A’s liking. I love that she can grab these, and it helps her love feeding herself!

I love the ease of using Nuby’s products and I find them to be extremely affordable so they fit anyone’s budget. These are currently my two favorite products from Nuby. You can check out more of Nuby’s products HERE.

Make Memories with Growing Roots Subscription Box

Growing Roots Subscription Box

I’m not new to the idea of subscription boxes. In fact, I love them. I think it’s fun having new products sent to my door on a monthly basis – especially when the products being sent are things I’d never think to buy for myself. I can say that I have really enjoyed my Growing Roots subscription box that they sent me. These boxes aim to connect families by building memories and they do just that.

The Going to Bed Book

Spending quality time with my daughter is very important to me, as is having “me”/ relaxation time. I love that there are amazing books in these boxes as well as pampering items for mommies. Ā As if the whole concept of the box is not great enough, with each box bought, a child in need has a book donated to them. Growing Roots box’s mission is “We believe in empowering families to spend more time together and in the benefits of early literacy.” I think that is so sweet.

Little Flower Relaxing and Detoxifying Lavender Bath Salt

I love that I’m able to build up my daughter’s book collection with quality books. I know these books will be in our family for a long time! I especially loved seeing that there was a Dr. Suess book in my box because growing up, Dr. Suess books and movies were some of my absolute favorites.

Someday book

Each month you receiveĀ 4-6 quality items sent to you for $39 + shipping. Something I like about these boxes is that items you get don’t all come from big companies. They come from small shops like ones found on Etsy. I think it’s really cool that Growing Roots Box supports small shops. You can tell a lot of thought goes into their product choices.

Bed Time Chore List

Products I received in my Growing Roots subscription box are as follows:

Ten Apples Up On Top!Ā Book: I adore Dr. Suess books! I think they’re so great for children’s imaginations.

Growing Roots Eye Pillow: Wonderful for keeping cold or hot depending what you need it for. Whether you have a headache or just want to get rid of bags under the eyes, this is great.

Bed Time Chore Chart: My daughter can’t use this yet but I love how it’s designed! A metal sheet on wood with magnets that have chores for kids so they know what to do to get ready for bed. I, personally, am a visual person. I feel like this would make doing night time routines a little bit more fun for kiddos.

Ten Apples Up On Top! book

Someday Book:Ā This is such a lovely book. It’s about a mother who dreams of all the wonderful things her child will do in life.

The Going to Bed Book: A cute book that makes going to bed more fun. šŸ™‚

Lavender Seeds

Lavender Seeds: I love that they included these because I’ve always wanted to make a garden. Lavender is so great for helping people fall asleep. It has a relaxing aroma.

Little Flower Relaxing and Detoxifying Lavender Bath Salt: Firstly, this bath salt smells so wonderful. Secondly, it’s definitely relaxing. I could not wait to try this bath salt and pretty much immediately opened it and poured myself a bath. It did not disappoint.

Eye Pillow by Growing Roots

Overall, I liked what I received. I thought it was a great box. There were pampering items for me and lasting products for my daughter, so definitely nice in my book.
