Acure Organics

I’ve been using an amazing brand of products for my skin for about the past few months and I love it. The brand is called Acure Organics and they’re a family owned company who make paraben-free, sulfate-free, and synthetic fragrance-free products for bodies, faces, and even products for babies. They don’t test on animals – which is awesome. What’s sweet is that Acure was founded as a way to honor the founder’s grandmother who battled beast cancer for years. They wanted to provide good products that promote healthy lifestyles, while also raising money for breast cancer research.

What I’ve been impressed with, is the fact that when I buy one of their products, I know I’m going to get a product that has exceptional ingredients that are good for my skin. Not only that, but their products are affordable for all budgets. 🙂 You can find some of their products in Target!

Sensitive Facial Cleanser –  Cleanses your skin while not drying it out. I have used this every day this past month and love it. It lathers up nicely and when used with my Clarisonic Mia, my skin feels incredibly soft. My skin has also stayed clear while using this cleanser. It doesn’t have much of a scent so if you’re someone who isn’t much into scented cleansers, you’ll like this one.

What it contains: Coconut Oil, Rooibos, Acai, Chamomile, Argan Oil, Olive Oil, Probiotics, CoQ10, Pumpkin Seed and Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, Vitamin E and some other ingredients including Omega Fatty Acids.

Price: $9.99

A moisturizing mask that draws out impurities. This mask is so gentle on the skin and leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft. It feels somewhat slimy and goopy – but it’s fantastic. It spreads on thinly and evenly and it doesn’t dry. I had had a few bumps on my skin and within the week they were gone. I made sure to leave this mask on the full time for optimal results and I think it worked wonderfully. I love the instructions!

What it contains: Acai Berry, Blackberry, Rosehips, Rooibos, French Green Clay, Chorella Growth Factor, Cocoa Butter, Algae, Sea Buckthorn, CoQ10, Argan Oil, Sage and Spearmint Essential Oils, Peony Stem Cell and Sweet Iris Stem Cell, plus some extra ingredients.

Price: $12.99

Acure Day Cream – A light-weight moisturizer that helps keep skin firm while keeping away free radicals. I really like this day cream because it smells citrus-y, which I love, and I don’t feel like it irritates my skin. A lot of times I put moisturizers on, my skin gets red and bothered. I use this both night and day and I’ve never felt like my pores are getting clogged when wearing this cream.

What it contains: Red Mandarin, Vitamin E, Clove, Evening Primrose Oil (wonderful for your skin!), Sunflower Seed Oil, Blackberry, Pomegranate, Chamomile, Gotu Kola, Probiotic, Argan Oil and other ingredients.

Price: $16.99

Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes – Wipes you can use for both face and body to remove dirt and makeup. You can find these in Target, which is where I bought them. I have used these a bunch of times and I don’t mind them but I don’t love them. I think my skin is too sensitive to use these. The texture feels like fabric, which is really nice but I don’t feel like it gets my makeup off amazingly. When I used these near my eyes it burns. It has lots of oils in it but it also has Citric Acid, which I think is why it burns. I would not recommend using these near your eyes. I haven’t been able to get my eye makeup off well with these either, which is a big thing I look for in makeup wipes. The other thing I don’t particularly like is that these wipes lather on your face but I think because my skin is dry it just kind of sits on my skin and doesn’t particularly scrub or really clean my face. These may work wonderfully for someone else and I know there’s some great reviews on them – so, if you feel like trying them – I say do. I have loved almost all the Acure products I’ve tried minus these.

What it contains: Olive Oil, Water, Sesame Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Citric Acid, other ingredients

Price: $6.99 – On sale for $5.00

Over-all, I really like this brand. You can tell they put a lot of really great ingredients into their products and that they care about their products. I think their pricing is fair and their products last quite a while.

I’ve been using Acure for about a year now but I had no clue the were founded as a way to honor the founders grandmother! That is so awesome! I love the daycream. It smells like apple cider to me 🙂 Hmm, I didn’t have any burning with the wipes but I have heard that from others before! Wonderful 🙂

They’re lovely. :)) Yeah, I actually just read that on their site today. Really sweet! I love the day cream as well. Smells so great. Its probably one of my favorite of their products. I honestly think that for the wipes my skin is just too sensitive for the citric acid in it but I know they must be wonderful for someone. Thanks for checking out my post!

Thank you for this awesome post. Finding good beauty products with pure ingredients are hard to find, especially affordable ones. I want to try this line and have also shared you post with a girlfriend fighting breast cancer. She’s very happy to have received the info as she is on the hunt for healthy products.

Completely agree. I tend to like only really using facial products now that aren’t harsh and have great ingredients. I hope your girlfriend likes these! 🙂

You always have the BEST facial products!! I like looking on here to find the new best thing! 😉

  5. I’ve tried a few things from Acure as well, and I think they’re pretty awesome (especially for how affordable their products are). The sensitive cleanser was one of my favorites! I love that it made my skin feel clean without drying it out. Those Argan wipes are really intriguing to me. Face wipes are a lazy girl’s best friend, and I like that the ingredients list for them isn’t full of funky chemicals.

Yes!! Lots of great ingredients — which is what pulled me to them in the first place. Great company. I love the sensitive cleanser for the exact same reason. It doesn’t dry out my skin. Def a must-have.

I wish Acure was available in Canada, they have such great pricing for quality cruelty-free and vegan products. I’ve heard very good things about their haircare products too!

They do have such great products. I just looked and they don’t do international shipping at all. I would think that they’ll be doing that soon since their company has gotten so big.
